About This Blog

This blog will be a place for me to write long form about the things I love, things that have struck my fancy, etc. There's really no telling what might be here. But I can probably assure there will be posts about things relating to Tolkien, Austen, Disney, Marvel, Christmas, Old Hollywood, flowers, tea, writing, books, film, and music among other things. Time shall tell.

I am a Christian so there will very likely be references to my faith on occasion. However, I have a more introspective and faith-infused blog located on Wordpress called ofbusynothings.

I also have a fitness blog that I update occasionally chronicling my attempt to walk/run the distance traveled by the characters in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. It is also located on Wordpress and is called runningthroughmiddleearth.

If you ever get the notion to follow me on Twitter, I must warn you I'm downright odd, scary even, as it is my most uninhibited form.
